INOR OPTHALMICS Company Formation Micro Titanium Limited was founded by late Dr.Dermot J.Pierse, a name which is well recognized as an outstanding Surgeon and Designer of Micro-surgical instruments, many of which carry his name internationally. A separate Trading Division -INOR OPHTHALMICS a division of INOR Medical Products Limited was formed to market these instruments in Local Indian market. Instruments are manufacture from Titanium and are High Precision Micro-Surgical instruments used in Ophthalmic Surgery.
The Market The Ophthalmic instruments market is unorganized and is mainly catered to by Small Scale Instrument manufacturers in Stainless Steel. A good number of Traders brand these products. There is an extensive range of Steel instruments offered to the Customer for different types of Ophthalmic Surgery. Titanium instruments were always considered to be expensive and were not manufactured in India and only a handful of surgeons really purchased them at exhibitions abroad.
